Volunteers are needed to help students during check-in for the High School Exit Exam at LJHS on March 18 and 19. Shifts are available from 7:00-7:45am or 10:00-11:30am on both days. Please plan to meet Anne McCarty, LJHS Vice Principal, at the West Entrance of the LJHS Gym on the day and time you signed up to volunteer.
We need volunteers to help with Grad Nite Ticket Sales and Bus Assignments. Tables for processing forms, payments, and bus sign assignments will be set up at LJHS on the quad during lunch March 17-19 and 24-26.
Please help our graduating seniors have a well-organized trip to Disneyland!
We need parents to chaperone the Senior Grad Nite trip to Disneyland. You'll meet at LJHS at 2pm on Saturday, June 7, ride the bus with the students, spend the evening at the park, and return to LJHS around 4am on Sunday, June 8.
Enjoy the magic of Disneyland, and help our graduating seniors have a safe, fun Grad Nite!
PTA is a not-for-profit organization and the nation's premier parent involvement group in schools. At La Jolla High, the PTA organizes and manages a variety of programs and services. Our website and eBlasts keep parents informed, our mini-grants keep classrooms stocked with supplies, and our volunteers keep school events running smoothly.
La Jolla High School (LJHS) is a comprehensive high school for grades 9–12 located in La Jolla, California. LJHS supports approximately 1,650 students from diverse backgrounds by offering a rigorous, coherent, and cohesive core curriculum, as well as Advanced Placement courses in 21 curricular areas and college-credit calculus and political science courses.
The Foundation of La Jolla High School was founded in 1983 and is a non-profit, tax exempt, public benefit corporation whose primary purpose is to raise funds for our school to support academic, athletic, building and grounds, and other needs of the School for which funding is not available.
